Recruitment – the industry needs the brightest brains

Organized by the Norwegian Fisheries College, University of Tromsø, Norway’s Arctic University,Tromsø.
The seminar focuses on how companies, universities and students cooperate in marine education. Four students from the Norwegian Fisheries College will present research of present importance to the aquaculture industry, and one company will tell why they prioritize such cooperation. The seminar concludes by presenting new cooperation opportunities for the industry.

13.25 Triploid salmon – product characteristics and market perspectives, by Terje Anterio Olsen, Master of Fisheries and Aquaculture Science. The project has been implemented in cooperation with Nord Senja Laks AS.
13.40 Fats in salmon feeds, by Iselin Evje, Master student of fish health. The project is being implemented in cooperation with Biomar.
13.55 Smolt status and response to vaccination, by Mathias Overrein, Master student of fish health. The project is being implemented in cooperation with Pharmaq.

14.30 How to cooperate with the University of Tromsø? by Ragnar L. Olsen, Professor, the Norwegian Fisheries College.
